YOU ARE WORTH FIGHTING FOR
Our Never A Victim! program is a two-day workshop all about self defense & women empowerment held by Doris Rivera-Black.
With her many years of experience in Krav Maga and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Doris & her instructors guide women through different real-life scenarios & how you can protect yourself from potential danger.
SHARING & STAND-UP
The workshop is split into two days dedicating two hours to instruction & bonding with ourselves & each other.
Day one consists of learning about verbal self defense, staying alert in public & how to feel confident and comfortable in uncomfortable situations.
Doris also reviews some Krav Maga - a martial art primarily done on the feet with a specific emphasis on self defense.
GROUND WORK & TECHNIQUE
Most attacks or fights end up on the ground - do you know how to get up & get to safety? Doris & her instructors go over this concept on day two of the workshop!
At the end of the day, one of our trusted instructors at the gym will come dressed in a padded suit to put us to the test to see what we have learned! Although it is fun to challenge ourselves, this portion of the workshop is completely optional for participation.
